Description[]
King kicks a projectile at the opponent through a hopping-spin kick. In KOF XIII, King could also perform the move in the air. It was removed in KOF XIV, but returned in KOF XV.
In KOF 2003 and KOF XI, King had two versions of the move - Top Venom and Under Venom that allowed her to fire the projectile at different angles. Top Venom (done with +
or
) had King throw the projectile at a high angle, similar to, say, Ventose or what would later become the airborne version of the move in KOF XIII. Under Venom (performed with the same input as always) instead had King throw the projectile at a low angle, much like a Reppuken.
Strategy[]
The creme de la creme of King's zoning game, this is your standard zoning tool. The has an average travel speed, while the
is much quicker.
In KOF XIII and KOF XV in particular, King can use this to control the horizontal space both on the ground and the air, allowing her to frustrate the opponent into a very haphazard approach. Once the opponent loses their patience, King can then punish them with either a crouching , a Surprise Rose, or a Silent Flash depending on the game.
