Thrash Rally, also known as Rally Chase, is a rally racing game developed by ADK and released in 1991 for the Neo Geo and later ported to the Neo Geo CD in 1994. Its one of the few Neo Geo titles compatible with the multi-link cable, allowing up to four players simultaneously.
Gameplay[]
In Thrash Rally players can choose from six different cars, each of them with their own stats on acceleration, speed and handling. All of the cars are based on real race cars, being given parody names in the Japanese version of the game. The tourney also are based in real-life car tournaments.
The game is played from an overview perspective with the camera focused on the player's car at all times. The player must race through six courses, with the final course only becoming available if the player achieves the first place in the previous tracks. The races take place from the 1992 World Rally Championship and the 1992 Paris–Cape Town Dakar Rally with a variety of terrain.
In 2018, the game also was available in modern consoles, through ACA Neo Geo.
