Kofwomenfightersteam
KOFXVSuperHeroine
  • With exception of the Tales of Ash Saga, this team receives new characters in his all new formations, between veterans of the series (and from other franchises) and new created characters.
  • Due to the fact of being the team's founders, King, Mai and Yuri are always been part of him, even if one or two of them are on another team.
  • Due to the fact that May Lee Jinju only appeared as part of Team Women Fighters in KOF 2002 (a Dream Match game), she has canonically not been an official member.
    • This also might be the reason why she doesn't appear in the Women Fighters Team's endings in following games to him (only in some special endings of KOF 2002 UM).
    • May Lee is the only character of this team with a non-canonical participation. All the other characters participated cannonically.
  • This team is the only of the KOF series with a wide variety of characters from other franchises.
    • This team is also the only of the series with a wide variety of leaders, due to his constant formation changes over the years. The team counts with 5 leaders.
    • The Fatal Fury series is the franchise with more entries in this team, with 4 female characters. The Art of Fighting series and the KOF series have 3 female characters each one, and the game Psycho Soldier, 1 female character only.
  • This team and Team Ikari Warriors are the only beyond the Hero and Rivals Teams whose some members are important to the story of KOF series, through the connections as the main events of each saga (Chizuru's clan is responsible by the Orochi seal, one of the key themes of the saga of same name).
  • Athena's inclusion in the Women Fighters Team in KOF XV was foreshadowed in two mainline games prior, by her special conversation with King in XIII, and some Athena's win quotes against their members of the team in XIV.
  • The 2000 and XV are the only formations of this team which all her members have the same nationality (in this case, both are Japanese).
    • In addition, the 2003 is the only alternative formation of this team which all her members have the same nationality (also Japanese).
  • In The King of Fighters '94, this team was called Team England, despite none of their members being English.
    • It may, however, be based on the fact that King is French, and both England and France are the biggest countries in the continent of Europe.
