KOF XIV Team Kim

Team Kim (キムチーム), also called Team Korea Justice (韓国かんこく司法しほうチーム) in earlier installments, is a reoccuring Team in The King of Fighters series.

Description[]

As the name implies, this team is leaded by Kim Kaphwan, a character from Fatal Fury series. Kim earns his own team due to his popularity in his home country, South Korea, and in his series' source. The team's main objective is to publicize its leader's justice ideals and rehabilitate feared criminals across the Asian country. The first team's formations consist of Korean fighters, and they are known as Team Korea Justice. Starting from The King of Fighters XIII, the team is simply known as Team Kim (due to the nationality of the team not being all of Korean fighters and its leader's popularity and fame).

Kim's main and reocurring teammates are Chang Koehan and Choi Bounge, two famous outlaw individuals in the country. The team received several characters over the time, starting in The King of Fighters '99. In The King of Fighters Neowave (a non-canonical game), Jhun Hoon replaces Kim in the leadership of the team.

  • Yellow: for table titles and undefined/dual status.
  • Lime & Red: for the characters' participation in the team.
  • Forest Green & Fire Brick: the first color indicates the characters who participated in the team in all times which he appeared in the series, and the second indicates the characters who were absent in the team from, at least, one game in the series.
Note 2: Since Kim hasn't participated with his source team in KOF XI and being a solo DLC character in The King of Fighters XV, his name in the first table is in fire brick.
