Team Fatal Fury/Trivia

• Due to being the protagonist of the source's series, Terry is the only character who has always been part of the mainline team.

• The classic formation of this team is the most assiduous in the mainline series, appearing eight times in the tournament (all the Orochi Saga, 2002/UM, XIII, XIV and XV).

• With exception of Mai Shiranui, Kim Kaphwan (Fatal Fury 2), Blue Mary (Fatal Fury 3) and Tizoc (Garou: Mark of the Wolves), all the other characters on this team made their first appearances in Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.

• In The King of Fighters '94, this team was called Team Italy, despite none of their members being Italian.
  • This team representing Italy may be a callback to the games Fatal Fury 2/Special, where Andy's stage was in Venice, one of the largest and famous cities in the country. The city also appear as the team's stage in KOF '94/Re-Bout.

• In The King of Fighters All Star, while not technically a main member of Team Mark of the Wolves, due to her being a KOF XI PS2 exclusive fighter, Hotaru Futaba can be count as its honorary extra member, due to sharing a battle theme as Gato and his XI teammates. Although in KOF XI itself, Hotaru and most PS2 exclusives shares a same theme as Team Agents.

• This team, Team Agents, Team Yagami, Team Outlaw (and its variants), Team Art of Fighting, Team Hero, Team South America, Team Rivals, Team Japan, Team Kyo, Team Sacred Treasures, Team Women Fighters, Team K', Team Benimaru, Team Asian Triple Alliance, Team Ikari Warriors, Team Ash, Team Elisabeth, Team Shun'ei, Team Mexico, Team G.A.W., Team Isla, Team China, Team East Asia, Team Masters and Team Geese are the only in the series which one or more members win a KOF tournament.

• This team, Team Women Fighters, Team NESTS, Team Rivals, Team Hero, Team Art of Fighting, Team Japan, Team East Asia, Team China, Team Kim, Team Kyo, Team Mexico, Team Athena, Team Outlaw, Team South America and Team Wrestling are the only of the series with a some/greater number of team variants.
  • The only variant of this team is canonical.
