Team Another World (チームアナザーワールド ) is a Team of The King of Fighters series.
Description[]
As the name implies, this team is composed by characters of another worlds and eras (all female). The team is formed when Nakoruru, a young priestess of the Edo period in Japan (and coming from the Samurai Shodown series), senses a terrible malice coming from a crack in spacetime.
To prevent the disaster of its potential release and to find its source, she traveled to the modern times (where The King of Fighters universe and story takes place) and enters in the KOF tournament along with Mui Mui (an girl descendent from an dragon martial artist clan) and Love Heart (a pirate and captain of Peace Air Pirates). This team is only available in The King of Fighters XIV. Mui Mui and Love Heart are protagonists of the famous SNK pachinko series (Dragon Gal and Sky Love, respectively). This team is disbanded after the events of the fourteenth tournament, as well as the consequences of the sale of pachinko copyright on Love Heart's series.
In The King of Fighters XV, a new formation, called Team Samurai, is a real concretization of this time. Both the formations are encouraged by Nakoruru, due to her ability to travel among the time and the universes.
