Team Agents/Trivia

• With the exception of Blue Mary (a character who debut in the Fatal Fury series), the other characters on this team are exclusively created for the KOF series.

• In all formations, Vanessa always appears as part of the team, canonically or not.

• In The King of Fighters 2002, this team was called "KOF 2000 Team", with its members representing The King of Fighters 2000 (the canonical game which both debuted as playable characters). However, in the remake of the reffered game, the team returns to their original name.

• The original formation of this team appears as stage cameo characters in The King of Fighters XIII (Paris Stage).

• The new and current formation of this team in The King of Fighters XV (Vanessa, Mary & Luong) is the fourth canonical variant of the Women Fighters Team, and the fifth mainline formation (if counting the NESTS Team and the Pretty Girls Fighters Team in The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, the High School Girls in The King of Fighters 2003 and the Another World Team in The King of Fighters XIV).

• This new and current formation also resembles the 2000-2003 formation of Charlie's Angels film series, in which the protagonists are also secret agents:
  • Vanessa resembles the agent Dylan Sanders (portrayed by former actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore);
  • Mary resembles the agent Natalie Cook (portrayed by former actress Cameron Diaz);
  • Luong resembles the agent Alex Munday (portrayed by actress Lucy Liu).

• This team, Team Masters, Team Ikari Warriors, Team Yagami, Team K', Team NESTS, Team Kim, Team Ikari Warriors, Team Rivals and Team Isla are the only teams of the series which one or more members have unknown nationality.

• This team, Team Fatal Fury, Team Yagami, Team Outlaw (and its variants), Team Art of Fighting, Team Hero, Team South America, Team Rivals, Team Japan, Team Kyo, Team Sacred Treasures, Team Women Fighters, Team K', Team Benimaru, Team Asian Triple Alliance, Team Ikari Warriors, Team Ash, Team Elisabeth, Team Shun'ei, Team Mexico, Team G.A.W., Team Isla, Team China, Team East Asia, Team Masters and Team Geese are the only in the series which one or more members win a KOF tournament.

• This team and Team Ikari Warriors are the only in the series that enter the tournament for investigative purposes.
