Verse incorporates some old characters in his win quotes, here it is:

vs. Iori: Same as always... Monsieur. (Ash)

vs. K’: I am... the original... (Krizalid or K9999?)

vs. Kyo: I am... Orochi... Now... here... return to nothingness. (Orochi) (This one was sealed later)

vs. Leona: Always… watching over you... (Gaidel)

vs. Mature: What’s wrong…? You can be my secretary again... (Rugal)

vs. Sylvie: I am the strongest… Try to best me. (Igniz)

Maybe this should help you guys in editing some ressurected characters pages.SNK Lover (talk) 15:22, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Dead Characters' Souls?

So...Verse had kept the souls of those who died? Does this mean that some dead characters will be revived, in the next KOF game, the second part of this new untitled trilogy arc? Except Orochi, of course, because (SPOILER ALERT) in Team Yagami's ending, the Sacred Treasures Team (Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru) have once again sealed him, seeing that Orochi was weak, and hopefully, never to return again. This is a cheap but effective plot device which basically allows them to bring back any character they want. Welcome to your doom! 17:47, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Even so, how can Verse possibly hold the soul of Krizalid or K9999 when he defeated K'? Krizalid was revived by the Original Zero and we can't tell if Krizalid was killed in a space shuttle explosion. As for K9999, he's still alive, but SNK removed him out of the KOF series, because he was hated. DevilX90 (talk) 18:34, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

The Krizalid in 2001 is just a clone, not the real one, who died in 99. Welcome to your doom! 15:00, August 25, 2016 (UTC)

Uh, dude, Krizalid was already confirmed as a clone of K' in KOF '99, and yet for some reason, Original Zero revived him. So the Krizalid in KOF '99 and the Krizalid in KOF 2001 are one in the same. DevilX90 (talk) 15:42, August 25, 2016 (UTC)

Where does it say that he was "revived" and not "cloned"? Welcome to your doom! 18:53, August 25, 2016 (UTC)

Take a good look at the page of Krizalid, genius. Sorry to say this, but read it and weep! DevilX90 (talk) 19:57, August 25, 2016 (UTC)

I asked a basic question, no need for sarcasm. Besides, the Krizalid article don't point a source as well so that's just speculation. Welcome to your doom! 18:03, August 26, 2016 (UTC)

Actually, yes, it officially says that Krizalid was, in fact, revived by Original Zero, and his "current" status remains unknown. That's the answer to your basic question. Learn it, kid. DevilX90 (talk) 18:33, August 26, 2016 (UTC)

Which official work? I heard some say the 2k1 is a clone and some say he really was revived. The wikia isn't a good enough source due to it not being managed by SNK. DarkRank1 (talk) 07:35, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

So whose the other dead character after defeating Nakoruru? As for after defeating Shun'ei, Terry & Andy i still dunno, but for soul after defeating Shun'ei seems brand new dead character. ScottKazama (ScottKazama) 15:30, August 26, 2016 (UTC)

Verse's Emergence

Where does it say Verse emerged when Ash erased himself and Saiki from the timeline?

In the Officlal Invitation ending it just shows Ash without much information.

While Verse appearing after the Ash saga is true, I seem to have missed or information isn't shown in the Verse cutscenes that he was "born" after Ash's actions. I interpreted "emerged" as "born".

Unless you meant "emerged" as in "appeared". If that's the case, then I just misinterpreted the wording. Saltamiya (talk) 16:34, May 13, 2018 (UTC)

I don't think there's any source on Verse emerging after what Ash did in XIII. Looking at all the team stories the most you get are characters "sensing" that something bad will happen, Vice comments on "the dead gathering". There's no mention of Ash being the cause of this, not to mention Geese already knowing of its existence thanks to the scrolls which claims that Verse's appearance is all according to the prophecy.

The one to edit that in was ScottKazama so you'll have to ask him where he got that information.

Yeah. It's too soon to asume that Verse was created as result of Ash actions on KOF XIII. Also if Verse info is on the Secret scrolls Geese possess, that means that Verse existed long time ago even before Ash actions. Kein Sylvan (talk) 15:44, May 13, 2018 (UTC)
