The Series[]

This so called "series" wasn't bad at all. Just too short. Now the one thing I found interesting and odd was the characters outfits. Not so much the outfits themselves, but how different outfits from different games appear in the same time. As if they combined different timelines together. Not that it is a problem.

For example, Kyo wears his normal outfit from KOF: Maximum Impact 2, while the Ralf, Leona, and Clark are looking for Kyo clones (from the NESTS Saga), and wearing their outfits from KOF: Maximum Impact. Ash Crimson also makes an appearance (who didn't appear in the original Maximum Impact storyline; Regulation A has no storyline) which he states he no longer has use for Iori Yagami because he has already taken his flames (Yasakani Magatama). That happened at the end of King of Fighters XI, and the Maximum Impact series is a spin-off with a different storyline from KOF '94-XI.

Terry also appears in his "Mark of the Wolves" outfit alongside Rock. When Rock tries to save Lien, he is then confronted by Billy. Billy is wearing his outfit from the Fatal Fury Real Bout games. While Terry and of course Rock are wearing their Mark of the Wolves outfits. The Real Bout series takes place 10 years before Mark of the Wolves. Billy has always been 4-5 years older than Terry. In KOF, Billy is 28 and Terry is 24. In Mark of the Wolves, Terry is 35 and Rock is 17, being of course being 18 years younger than Terry. Does this make Terry 35 in this movie? If so, how and why did he and Rock age 11 years while Billy looks exactly the same?

I know that King of Fighters is a different storyline from Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting, but I thought it was an interesting point nonetheless. One thing about this movie I like is how it has references from different games and that makes a good topic for discussion. --SouthandNorthKorea 06:20, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
