Yo, a leaked video shows the guy's name unromanized in the interface. Do we change the page name to Saiki or wait for an official statement ? Lioyd 16:15, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Similarities[]

I don't mean to complain but I believe that this Saiki dude is a complete rip-off of Remy from Street Fighter, I mean just look at the similarities, the same hair style, the same techniques, it all adds up, don't any of you users agree? 4:34 ThunderBeam707 June 24, 2010 (UTC)

I don't. Saiki was based on Ash, who is himself just barely a ripoff. It's one thing to deny SNK rips Capcom off sometimes, but on the other hand, people also need to admit that yes, SNK can come up with an original character on their own. Lioyd 05:26, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Well I highly doubt that because sometimes SNK can create characters with the same characteristics such as Capcom, for expample: Remy's techniques and Ashes techniques. 9:41 ThunderBeam707 June 25, 2010 (UTC)

That's true. On the other hand, Robert's 2003 moveset made the series in need of a new Guile-type character. It's less about ripping off than accomodating the presence of Guile-type players. Really, besides the moveset and MAYBE the shape of his shirt, Ash isn't nearly as much of a ripoff as John Crawley is. Lioyd 10:15, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well you got me there but on the other hand John is not that popular and some fans been making reviews here and that Ash has the same techniques as Guile's, Charlie's, and Remy's attacks. 12:04 ThunderBeam707 June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, Ash Crimson was never a rip-off of Remy, nor Guile. Ash and remy's hair Style are totally different, their clothing style are different, their personality are different and their fighting style are different. The only thing that ties them together is that the commands for their 2 basic attacks are the same, which is totally a ridiculous usage of proof that Ash is a rip-off. Or otherwise, all fighters with same command of moves are a rip-off of each other, don't you think so?Coballes19 13:29, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
If you all know what Jojo is, you'll know whom Saiki taken inspiration from. Which is not the first for a fighting game at all.  *Cough* Rugal *Cough*Dnoryu (talk) 16:45, August 3, 2016 (UTC)

He guys.[]

Saiki can freeze his foes dead in their tracks because of his Dark powers, not time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.163.219 (talkcontribs)

Current changes to Saiki: Eliminating unconfirmed things...[]

Saiki appeared in the stadium not to pick up a slack of his followers but to kill the winners and hope to make them sacrifices(as he said himself).

Also, Those from the past, according to Magaki's backstory, were actually Western emmisaries of Gaia, much similar to Orochi from japan. Also, Saiki, if ever he has lived for years, there is no point in Ash being wiped out of existence since Saiki's disappearance in the current timeline won't create a time paradox if he had lived from the past to the current timeline.

Also, Saiki was never really "defeated" stoywise, both he and Evil Ash. Like how Mukai and Magaki's fight ended, he was unscathed. He even never said anything about the vehemence of the player being able to complete the requirements. The only things he said was "You're doing well. But not good enough... Fight harder! Shout louder!".Coballes19 13:53, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

How to unlock Saiki in the console versions of KOFXIII[]

I got The King of Fighters XIII for Xbox 360 yesterday and I already unlocked Billy Kane. Now I need to encounter Saiki in Arcade Mode, but how? 50.88.12.56 22:58, November 23, 2011 (UTC)

Never mind. I already got that. To encounter Saiki, you have to first unlock Billy Kane, then start Arcade Mode again with at least Billy in your team. 67.8.14.200 21:33, November 24, 2011 (UTC)
