Being the game in the XVIII century and being Earthquake from Texas, he would be Mexican instead, or at least Novohispan.

Henchmen[]

Checking each character from SVC Chaos, noticed that there is almost no info about them in English, so I'll just drop what I found around the web here:

  • Earthquake's henchmen are named Tonkichi (トン吉, the one with blue clothes), Chinpei (チン平, yellow one), Kanta (カン太, dark blue), Konpachi (コン八, green) and Kinzo (キン三, red) in Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits: Bushidō Retsuden, where they appear as "mid bosses" before Earthquake with most characters (Genjuro fights them, while Galford doesn't).
  • In the first Samurai Showdown, Earthquake only had 3 henchmen, with 2 more appearing from the sequel onward.
  • Chinpei's name was also mentioned in Earthquake's endings from Samurai Shodown II and the Japanese version of S.S. VI.
    • In II, he is not seen, only heard. The ones seen have red, green, and blue (x2) clothes.
    • In VI, Chinpei is the one with red clothes.
