Sho Kamui (神威かむい しょ) is the main character from Breakers and its updated version, Breakers Revenge. His name in the game’s prototype version, Crystal Legacy, was Takeshi Kamui.

He is voiced by Diney Paiva in Pocket Bravery.

About[]

The main protagonist of the series, Sho is a young karate expert from Japan who decides to participate in the FIST Tournament hosted by Bai-Hu, an evil spirit who possessed the father of his rival Lee Dao-Long, since Lee was going to show up too.

During the tournament, he runs into Tia Langray, who is searching for her lost brother. After the two fight, Tia remarks that Sho looks a lot like her brother and that she won’t forget him. Sho, Tia and Dao-Long would eventually team up to defeat Bai-Hu, who was revealed to be possessed by an evil spirit and responsible for the presumed death of Tia’s brother. Sho's bio details him as a fighter with a soul of fire & fervently committed to justice.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Sho’s clone counterpart in Breakers (when both players choose him) is named Jin Sawamura.
    • Like the other clones, Jin is given a backstory to differentiate himself from Sho. In this case, Jin Sawamura is a karate master and the mentor to Sho Kamui and Lee Dao-Long. Sawamura is also a big fan of the J-Pop band known as TUBE.[2]
    • When choosing Sho with his yellow outfit in Pocket Bravery, his name changes to Jin.
