- "これが
神罰 です! (This is divine punishment!)" - —Goenitz
Shin Ya Otome Mizuchi (
This "true" version of the Ya Otome technique is considered to be one of the main gifts of Orochi bestowed upon the Yasakani Clan-turned-Yagami Clan back then, via their own watered-down version of the technique, where as Goenitz being a direct head of Orochi itself has access to the true variation of this attack with 2 other versions possible.

Description[]
Goenitz dashes forward after holding up his leading hand a la a "realization" gesture, in ode to him yelling . On a successful hit, he proceeds to slash at his foe while moving forward. He will finish by holding them up via a chokehold as blood continues to flow out, then slam them to the ground with a Soukatsusatsu.
The version, known as Shin Ya Otome Jissoukoku (
In KOF XV, the attack would be renamed to Shin Ya Otome Yomotsu ( version has Goenitz manifest a whirlwind that blows the opponent away as a follow-up to the cross-claw attack.
Strategy[]
As the stronger version, there are plenty of ways for Goenitz to connect with this attack, all involving frame traps. His has higher priority even in non-boss versions, thus trading hits is not much of a concern. However, it is not easily comboable into.
In more recent versions, if properly blocked, Goenitz is left wide open for retaliation much like the base Ya Otome used by Iori (Goenitz ends up having to brake his rush if he's blocked). However, depending on the game and his status as a boss or not, his Ya Otome variations have properties that require it to be correctly guarded against; his lower dash versions hit low and must be guarded low, and his aerial version must be guarded standing as it hits overhead instead.
