Sanjingi no Ni

Sanjingi no Ni (三神（さんじん）技之弐（ぎのに）, "Three Divine Arts No.2"), also known as Trinity Two, is one of Iori Yagami's Super Special Moves in The King of Fighters series.

Description[]

Iori slams his opponent into the ground, then lifts the victim with both hands by the collar as he surrounds himself and his said victim in a pillar of purple fire, ending in an explosion that blasts them away from his grip.

Back in KOF 2003, the flame pillar starts to turn orange before the explosion occurs, referencing the fact that historically, the Yagami/Yasakani Clan flames were crimson prior to their corruption through the curse of the Orochi blood.

This move is canonically how Iori held Orochi at bay despite being under the heavy influence of the Riot of the Blood.
