Raiou Ken

Rai'ou Ken (雷煌拳（らいおうけん）; Thunder Spark/Gleam Fist) is one of Yuri Sakazaki's Special Moves in The King of Fighters series, and is one of the basic techniques of the Kyokugenryu Karate, being the Rai'ou principle's signature attack.

Description[]

Yuri leaps up and throws out a projectile while airborne via an axe-handle motion. Some games either have her jump into the air by herself to throw the projectile overhead before landing, or to leap forward in a somersault to slam overhead energy as she lands.

Starting from KOF 2001 and since KOF XIV, the move could only be done while airborne for most of its appearances. Additionally, the move can also be done from her Houyoku starting from KOF XIII.
