Ougi Kogetsuzan (奥義（おうぎ） 弧月斬（こげつざん）; Secret Skill: Arc Moon Slash) is one of Haohmaru's Special Moves, and one of his signature attacks in the Samurai Shodown series, first appearing in the original Samurai Shodown.

Description

Haohmaru does a two-handed double rising spin-slash, one grounded, then the second one right-after taking him into the air as he turns at the apex. Button versions determine how high the second slash goes and how forward he moves during the attack.

If Haohmaru does this attack while dashing, it becomes Ougi Shippuu Kogetsuzan (奥義（おうぎ） 疾風弧月斬（しっこげつざん）; Secret Skill: Hurricane Arc Moon Slash), which takes him even higher with some forward momentum; certain games have afterimages trail Haohmaru as a difference from the base version.
