The Neo Geo MVS X Home Arcade is a dedicated arcade cabinet-style console licensed by SNK and produced by UNICO and Gstone Group. It was released on November 24, 2020 in North America[1], and on January 31, 2021 in Japan[2]. The console resembles the popular "big red" Neo Geo cabinets, and an optional riser to make it taller is available as an extra purchase.
At the top is a mini marquee featuring the artwork for Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Metal Slug 3, Samurai Shodown II and The King of Fighters '98. It features stereo speakers, and a 17 inch LCD monitor that replicates the 4:3 aspect ratio of the Neo Geo. Additionally, it features a USB port to receive firmware updates via USB drives. Display options include pixel perfect and CRT-style scanlines. Game options include the ability to change between the MVS and AES versions of all the games. The MVSX has 50 built-in games, separated into collections, according to SNK series.
In Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, several models of this cabinet can be seen in the Bar Street Stars stage.
