Moon Slasher (ムーンスラッシャー) is one of Heidern and Leona's Special Moves in The King of Fighters series, first appearing in The King of Fighters '94 by the former.

Description[]
The user swings their rear arm in a full circle, creating a ring of cutting energy around their arm.
In the Maximum Impact sub-series, Leona can follow-up the version with Reverse Slasher (リバーススラッシャー), a second Moon Slasher using her opposite arm.
Strategy[]
This move is known for both Leona and Heidern's primary anti-air special, as it is a very fast move and covers behind them. Because this move requires a charge input to be done, the move requires holding 
or 
for 30 frames (0.5 seconds) to be done.
As for Leona's version, only the version has upper body invincibility, with the version having no invincibility whatsoever. The version however, has full body invincibility, making it more reliable and possible to use as a reversal.
Heidern's version on the other hand, has a unique capability of causing Storm Bringer to deal more damage if this move is whiffed purposely. If a regular Moon Slasher is whiffed, a Storm Bringer that is inputted directly afterwards will deal ~25% more damage and Storm Bringer to deal ~30% more damage, while a whiffed Moon Slasher will cause a Storm Bringer that is inputted directly afterwards to deal ~50% more damage and Storm Bringer to deal ~65% more damage.
