KOF Maximum Impact Regulation "A2" is unreleased fighting game and the sequel to KOF Maximum Impact Regulation "A".
Development History[]
KOF Maximum Impact Regulation "A2" was announced for the PlayStation 2 and Taito TypeX2 at Tokyo Game Show 2007. Many believed that the game was put on hold due to the development of KOFXII, but it was later canceled.
According to two[1] tweets[2] on Twitter from Falcoon, there were 8 characters planned; 4 retuning and 4 newcomers. The returning characters were planned to be Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, Joe Higashi and Ángel. The newcomers were planned to be:
- an "unnumbered NESTS modified human"
- an "undead Hizoku Clan Clan member"
- a "single person with five personalities"
- a "third Beart"
Additionally, Samchay Tomyamgun from Fighter's History was potentially considered as a clone as Joe Higashi, similar to Wild Wolf or Kyo Kusanagi Classic.
