The Jin/Qin Dynasty (
History[]
According to Chinese history, the Qin Dynasty came to rise upon its progenitor power, the Sheng Period state of Qin, declared their right to unite the divided lands during the Spring and Autumn Period and ushering in the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period. Within combat and warfare, the Qin armies were said to be brutally efficient and practical, exploiting their foe's weaknesses while mercilessly hunting down even retreating soldiers and stragglers after winning battles.
Upon coming to power, Qin state king Ying Zheng then declared himself the first Huangdi emperor, Qin Shi Huang, naming himself after the legendary Five Emperors of prehistoric China. With a strong sense of administration rooted in Fajia legalism that was more rooted in realistic rule by law, Qin Shi Huang came to implement social, economic, and political reforms aimed to centralize the unification of the Qin Empire and the Han ethnostate. While these implementations had helped to create the foundations of Chinese civilization, Qin Shi Huang's rule was not entirely rooted in ethical administration, being infamous for The Burning of Books and Burying of Scholars against Confucian schools of thought to empower the Fajia backed state, the enforced conscription of hard labor of civilians to build the Great Wall of China at threat of death, and garnered enough enemies in his past campaigns to have had at least three known assassination attempts on his life during his rule. Under his rule, the Chinese political doctrine of tianxia or "Under Heaven" would be made geographical, and would spur Qin Shi Huang to further expand the Chinese state by campaigns against bordering Miao and "barbarian" ethnic minorities centered in the Chinese continent.
Upon coming to the twilight of his life into old age, Qin Shi Huang desired to rule not just for his lifetime, but for eternity. Having heard of legends of the elixirs of immortality, one day during his elder years had him visited by Anqi Sheng, a 1000 year old xian or hermit and Taoist wizard, who held a personal audience with him for three days and nights straight and lavished upon him riches to learn of the secrets of immortality. Having learned from him that Anqi Sheng dwelled upon the mythical Mount Penglai and would further give his secrets should they find him there, Qin Shi Huang sent his court Taoist wizard, Xu Fu, on an expedition to find Mount Penglai and Anqi Sheng across the eastern seas. Although the first expedition had Xu Fu find the Korean island of Jeju and the early nation of Japan, the second expedition saw Xu Fu disappear, instead claiming Japan for himself. Desperate, Qin Shi Huang soon sought any who had claimed to bear the elixirs of immortality and medicines of longevity, even at the cost of being defrauded and exploited.
Before Qin Shi Huang's death, a meteorite landed in the southern lands of the Yellow River in Dongjun, and was soon inscribed with the ominous words, "The First Emperor will die and his land will be divided." With no one willing to come forward to admit to this offense, one of the last acts of tyranny of Qin Shi Huang was to put all citizens near the impact site to death and had the meteorite shattered. In 210 BC, Qin Shi Huang would die during his fifth tour of the Qin Empire at the age of 49, which cause is popularly believed to be mercury poisoning from the fraudulent elixirs in his search for immortality. After his death, the Qin Dynasty would meet its end by a dispute of succession by his legitimate son, Qin Fusu, and his illegitimate son, Huhai Qin Er Shi, by the corrupt and eager chief eunuch Zhao Gao and prime minister Li Shi, causing the Qin Dynasty to become even more unruly and corrupt, prompting the people to violently revolt in turn. In a tumultuous dynamic of backstabbing and betrayal amidst intense civil war, the son of Fusu, Qin Ziying, would only be able to quell the rebellions by killing Zhao Gao and executing his family line and surrendering what remained of the Qin Dynasty to the rebel forces.
According to Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture, it has been shown that the Stroheim Family had fought alongside the Hakkyoseiken School in the ranks of Alexander the Great and the Macedonian Empire, and had fought against Gaudemeus' Armor of Mars when it had gained sentience and wrought devastation upon the Macedonian capitol of Pella.
