- In this Chinese name, the family name is "Jin".
Jin Chonrei (
He is voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi.
Development[]
According to an issue of Neo Geo Freak, Chonrei was originally conceived to be a person with split-personalities with a masculine and feminine side. However, since the designers favored both sides equally, they abandoned this version in favor of a twin brother.
Personality[]
He focuses himself on his little brother and wants to protect him at all costs, giving him a rather overprotective nature due to his and Chonshu's past that can at times awaken a further streak of brutality.
Overall, he is more brutal-minded and direct-to-the-point compared to Chonshu. Chonrei doesn't like putting in a lot of effort into something, but he is very confident in his abilities, and has no problem of showing it akin to how his younger brother taunts others.
Even then, in the end he realizes that the goal of their ancestors was a mere delusion and for all the power they have gained since that moment when their bodies were possessed, he and Chonshu start to seek better things in life without the influence of the spirits that resided in their bodies.

Fighting Style[]
Chonshu's fighting style named Teiouken (Sovereign Fist, read in pinyin as Diwangquan) is a fictional kung fu style that consists of techniques with a high focus in chi control and fast-blinking movements. Chonrei's take on the style focuses more on allowing him to stand his ground more often.
