Hiori-no-Kusabi (臂（ひ）折（おり）ノ楔（くさび）; Broken Elbow of the Lynchpin) is one of Saiki's Special Moves in the King of Fighters series, first appearing alongside him in The King of Fighters XIII.

Description

Saiki does a front kick using his front leg with his hands on his hips.

The version can be followed up with Ura Shichiri (裏七（うらしち）里（り）; Inverse Seven Ri), where Saiki teleports in a glint of blue light. The direction he travels depends on the button pressed.

• A ri (里) is an old unit of distance. It used to be about half a kilometre — and still is in China, where it is called a lǐ — but elongated over time until it was fixed on 3927.27 metres during the Meiji period (1868–1912).
