Description[]
Geese jumps and claws at his opponent from above. However, the animation across games have heavily varied:
- In Real Bout Special and Real Bout 2, (Nightmare) Geese leaps and slashes inwards and upwards with his following arm, going into an upwards uppercut-esque follow-through upon landing with some recovery.
- In Wild Ambition, he leaps forward with an outwards-downwards chop swipe of white energy with his leading hand, akin to the finisher of his Hishou Nichirin Zan.
- In KOF 2002 UM as Nightmare Geese, it follows akin to the first variation but Geese only stops part-way during the swipe in midair without the upwards follow-through upon landing. It also downs the foe with a hard knockdown on hit instead.
- In Tekken 7, Geese instead claws inwards with his leading/left arm forwards at a downwards angle upon hopping.
According to lore, Geese during his younger years intended for this technique in ode to "losing one's footing" to be a counter to the Hien Shippuu Kyaku of the Kyokugenryu Karate.
Strategy[]
With this classing as a hop, Geese can quickly transition into Shippuken to both get some extra damage in, and gain some distance if the version of Shippuken is used.
