Payak Sitipitak (パヤック・シピタック, พยัคฆ์ สิทธิพิทักษ์) is a character in Buriki One. He is voiced by Atsushi Yamanishi.
Story[]
Payak is a middle aged Muay Thai pro of the Welterweight division. He earns his living from Mauy Thai to support his family of 17 (Himself, his wife and children, his parents and his wife's parents). He is quite old for a Muay Thai fighter, and while past his prime and not as quick as he once was, Payak is still able to keep pace with his opponents. Many still say that no fighter has better technique in the Muay Thai scene. Payak has never competed overseas before, and wanting to make it his last big moment in fighting before retirement, he accepted his invitation to the Buriki One tournament. [1]
Some of Payak's older children have also taken up Muay Thai, not all though, as some aren't so good with sports. Payak respects Joe Higashi, viewing him as a strong fighter. He cites Joe's guts and ability to win over the crowd, especially kids, with his own sons being fans of Joe's. [2]
