Fallen Rock (フォールン・ロック) is a character from the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series. After briefly appearing as a cameo on certain characters' nightmares in The King of Fighters: Another Day (as Rock's nightmare) and SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy (in Terry's nightmare during his ending), he was being properly introduced in Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves, as a manifestation of an alternate version of Rock under the effects of the Jin scrolls.

Appearance[]

Fallen Rock largely remains the same as regular self, albeit that he now wears Geese's large crimson hakama and classic cream white gi top tied around his waist which exposes his bare-chest. He also wears his father's red arm-guards bordered in gold. Overall, Fallen Rock's outfit is based upon Geese's appearance in his first mainline King of Fighters series participation, The King of Fighters '96, but with white top gi tied like his father's Real Bout Fatal Fury appearances and the "New Age Saga" storyline of King of Fighters mainline series.

Prior to his proper appearance in City of the Wolves, he wears a same cloth as his regular self and only appeared in the nightmares of both Rock and Terry.

Story[]

This inhuman boss is triggered when Rock witnesses his mother being harmed by Jack Turner. The resulting entity is a ruthless version of Rock, who sees the original Rock as a failure who couldn't do anything. This is highly implied to be the Evil Blood within Rock personified.

Once defeated, the Jin scrolls lose hold of Rock and he reverts.

Powers[]

  • Gather Chi - Fallen Rock can gather chi energy.
  • Sense - Fallen Rock can sense the presence of people nearby.
  • Energy Projectile - Fallen Rock can fire a wave of energy called Reppuken and even fire three of them at the same time (Triple Reppuken). The air version is called Shippuken (for one shot) and Double Shippuken (for two shots).
  • Energy Attack - Fallen Rock can use chi to increase the damage of his normal attacks (punches, kicks and so forth). He uses this power in a similar fashion Terry does and, sometimes, the energy takes the form of wings.
  • Energy Geyser - By touching the ground with his hands, Fallen Rock can make a geyser of energy come from below the ground. He called this attack Raging Storm.
  • Time Freeze - Fallen Rock can stop time while being unaffected himself.

Fighting Style[]

He fights with a fusion of Geese's skills and his own, emphasizing his own speed and flexibility, but with the strength of his father. He also have some of Jin brothers' moves as well due to the influence from the Jin scrolls.

Music[]

  • Dark Blood - Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
