EPISODE OF FIGHTERS ~Shingo Saga~ is the third EPISODE OF FIGHTERS being told in the game KOF: Chronicle.   Translated and written by Banden

Plot Summary[]

Shingo Yabuki and Kyo Kusanagi are walking together on the streets of Osaka. Shingo keeps mumbling to himself with greets and self-introduction while introducing Kyo as his master. Kyo gets fed up and questions him about who's the person he's talking to. Shingo responds to him by saying he's keeping notes of everything in his "diary", and when Kyo decides to release his own autobiography it can be used as a material. Kyo disregards it by saying he has no plans on releasing one. Shingo then requests Kyo to teach him a new technique, initially ignored by Kyo at first but Shingo bribed the scion with a corn mayo bread for his lunch. Convincing Kyo to teach his apprentice something new. Unsure of what to teach Shingo, Kyo proposed that they get into actual combat practice.

As they finish sparring, Shingo proceeds to question Kyo about tomorrow's new technique for him to learn. Kyo suggested to teach him "Dokugami", Shingo is thrilled as he hears that, claiming that he's seen Kyo using it in the semifinals last year. But is then hit by something else on his mind, asking if it's okay for Kyo to use it again. Kyo disregards it, and they part away for today. On the next day, Shingo goes to visit Kyo but the former is told that the flame scion doesn't have the energy to train him today. Shingo tries to get Kyo's spirits up but fails, as the latter tells him resting is also part of the training in the world of muscles. Disappointed, Shingo crafts a paper plane and asks the scion if he wants to play together. Kyo then responds by saying he would rather go to bed instead of playing like a kid. Shingo then starts complaining about how the paper plane doesn't fly well as he tries to fold it properly but keeps failing. Once again catching Kyo's attention as he gets up to help Shingo fold the plane properly. As Kyo manages to improvise the paper plane, Kyo throws it and it flies up to 50 meters high. The paper plane accidentally hits a police officer passing by, angering him. Kyo makes a run for it when Shingo suggested apologizing together, leaving Shingo to deal with the cops himself.
