Deadly Rave EXT

Deadly Rave EXT (デットリーレイブ・EXT（エクストラ）; lit. "Deadly Rave Extra") is one of Rock Howard's Climax Super Special Moves in The King of Fighters series.

Description[]

Rock unleashes a flurry of attacks on the opponent before finishing them off with an uncontrollable Raging Storm.

Strategy[]

Although Deadly Rave EXT is weaker than its original counterpart, it does have a unique twist; on a successful hit, Rock gains enhanced properties on several of his Special Moves and Super Special Moves for the remainder of the round, as well as refunding 0.5 bar on hit. And just like the original, it is fully invincible on the first frame of startup.

Starting with the KOF XV Patch ver. 2.10, all of the Install buffs now last until Rock is KO'd, making it more viable to use.

Attack	EXT Install Properties
Reppuken	and versions do additional damage and can OTG.
Hard Edge, The elbow (both versions) The palm strike (/ versions only)	ver. does additional damage and can be cancelled into the ver. of Rising Tackle on hit or block. It also gains free juggle properties on hit. ver. gains a third hit, dealing additional damage and becoming much safer on block. It also hard knocks down and allows a guaranteed OTG followup.
Rage Run - Type: Hard Edge	Cause a soft, non-juggle knockdown which can be followed up with Raging Storm in the corner.
Shinkuu Nage	Deals more damage with a hard knockdown Rasetsu with a guaranteed OTG follow up with ver. Reppuken.
Raging Storm	Can now OTG. The ver. can only OTG with its first hit and can be very awkward to time trying to OTG recovery rolls (e.g. in corner after non-counter air Blow Back or Rage Run Dunk)
Neo Deadly Rave	Does slightly more damage (25+ damage).
Deadly Rave EXT	Does slightly more damage (25+ damage).
