Description[]

Krohnen swings his arm out, creating a trail of flames at his feet.

Strategy[]

Usage[]

Krohnen's projectile is surprisingly useful in a number of ways. Although it is a short-range grounded fireball, it can hit multiple times, and unlike most projectiles in KOF XV, Krohnen can gain meter by whiffing, . In the corner, both the and versions can combo into Heat Shield or Infernal Prominence.

Compared to the Kyokugenryu Ko-Ou Ken (particularly Ryo's or Yuri's versions), this one has more utility, since it can function as both a midrange poke, an anti-projectile tool, and even a combo starter in the corner.

The version on the other hand carries these benefits over, but on top of that, it also crumples the opponent on hit, granting Krohnen plenty of combo opportunity as he can follow up with either Heat Shield or Strike Slash on hit to extend his combos.

In the 1.32 patch for KOF XV, the version will now cause a knockdown on hit, granting Krohnen both better combo ability in the corner, and better zoning ability (especially if used in tandem with crouching ).

Counter[]

If Krohnen uses Blaze Thrower too close to the corner, it will result in the last few hits overshooting the opponent, leaving Krohnen double digits minus and open for punishment.
