Benimaru Collider

Benimaru Collider (紅丸（べにまる）コレダー) is one of Benimaru Nikaido's Special Moves in the King of Fighters series, first appearing in The King of Fighters '96.

Description[]

Benimaru grabs his opponent with both hands, then electrocutes them for a while before letting them go and having them drop to the ground. Later games have him instead grasp the foe with a single hand instead.

Solely in KOF 2002 UM, a new followup is added called Benimaru Shoot, where after letting go, Benimaru punt-kicks the dropped-down victim away.

This attack is based on the Buster Collider from the anime Gunbuster, where the titular mecha unveils an array of rods from its forearms to skewer a target and shock them with volts of electricity.
