Bakuretsuken

Bakuretsuken (爆裂拳（ばくれつけん）; Exploding Fist) is one of Joe Higashi & Hwa Jai's Special Moves in both the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series, first appearing alongside Joe in Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.

Description[]

The user rapidly punches their opponent. In most appearances, the user just uses their rear arm to punch their opponent on the spot, though Joe has certain cases (namely in KOF '96) where he barrages his opponent with punches using both fists while moving forwards.

This can be followed up with Bakuretsuken Finish (爆裂拳（ばくれつけん）フィニッシュ; Exploding Fist Finish), where Joe uppercuts/low-kicks an opponent. Starting with KOF XV, a new follow-up was added where Joe can drive his elbow into his opponent overhead.
