Area 801 (ＡＲＥＡ８０１) is one of Mars People's Special Moves, first appearing in SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.

Description[]
Mars People leaps forward to strike its opponent overhead, immediately knocking them down to the floor; the version is a pistol whip which travels a short way, while the version is a double cross-chop that drops the opponent on the second hit, travelling further.

- The attack's name is likely a riff on Area 51, the US Air Force air base in Nevada, known more for its many conspiracy theories involving aliens.
- Funnily, 801 is the US area code for Utah.
