Aoi Nanase (七瀬 葵, Nanase Aoi), born on June 12 in the Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a Japanese illustrator, mangaka, and character designer. She has also used the name "Mayu Nagase" in the past. Before her professional debut, she published several well received Nakoruru related fan comics (doujinshi) and prints. She still likes to publish fan comics in her free time and she has a profile in the doujin circle, Himegami. Her official website is Seventh Heaven.
Apparently, she is also a well known fan of the Charlotte and Nakoruru pairing.
