Overview

Akari is a Zoning Character.

In Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, Akari's moves are represented and based off of Power Mode, so light Slashes can't be chained into hard Slashes. Unlike in The Last Blade series, Slashes don't do block damage. Unlike the other Last Blade characters, Kaede has also lost his unblockable attack. Unlike in The Last Blade series, Akari is the only LB character who cannot uses Pounce Attacks.

Counter moves are now a Special Move, which can stun opponents and leave them vulnerable to counter attack. To perform a repel, press + to counter high and mid-level attacks, including special and super moves. Press + to counter low attacks. Once performed successfully, press to counterattack the opponent.
