Description[]
Kyo uppercuts with his leading fist while also bracing across with his following arm, launching the opponent. The Maximum Impact version has a bit more startup while also scooting a bit forward with a more rigid uppercut motion.
During the startup frames however, it can be followed into a counter if Kyo is hit by any attack before the uppercut:
- Ge-Shiki Ryuu Iri (
外式 ・龍射 り; lit. "Other Method: Dragon Shooting") is a leading-armed elbow drop akin to the 127 Shiki Yanosabi if Kyo reverses a high or mid-level attack. - Ge-Shiki Tora Fuse (
外式 ・虎伏 せ; lit. "Other Method: Tiger Laying") is a downwards flame punch to the ground akin to the Ge-Shiki Migiri Ugachi if Kyo reverses a low-level attack.
Solely for Kyo-2 however, he performs this off of his Aragami>Yanosabi bridge, though instead of having autoguard/guard point properties, it instead inflicts an instant guard crush.
