115 Shiki Dokugami (
This move, along with its followup attacks, is primarily used by Kyo Kusanagi. It was developed in unison with the 114 Shiki Aragami and several other moves before the events of The King of Fighters '96 due to Kyo's first defeat at Goenitz's hands.

Description[]
Kyo as he briefly spins around once, slugs the foe with his leading arm for a fire-laced hook. This sets itself up for one specific sequence of followups:

Strategy[]
While not as prolific as Aragami, Dokugami has a number of great uses. It can be used as a great whiff punisher midscreen due to Kyo moving in more forward before his punch and its autoguard frames being more hefty as a mean to stuff any attempts to poke him out, as well as respectable damage in general for the whole multi-input chain. Dokugami is also a fantastic mid-range punishment tool, since it has incredible physical range and lots of autoguard frames.
Despite this, the Dokugami with its slower startup can only be properly comboed into off of heavy normals, as off of light normals it works as a frame trap at best. Even so, it and its followups tend to have notable recovery compared to the Aragami, making it easy to punish Kyo if whiffed or blocked at any point in the sequence.
Only in both Neo Geo Battle Coliseum and EX Kyo in KOF XI, an alternate Aragami>Kokokizu>Nanase sequence is available from the Dokugami, which goes into the 123 Shiki Shakuen.
